Samsung Galaxy S10
Samsung Galaxy S10 - The surprise for 2019.

Samsung’s Galaxy series has been the leading flagship phone on the market for the last 9 years. Every year Samsung comes out with something new and innovative. We have seen in almost all galaxy phones and the last two phones are the prime examples, the s8 and s9. Samsung took the galaxy phones to a whole new level with their last two flagships with their stunning displays outstanding processing power perfected cameras and stylish designs which gave the competitors no fighting chance.

Now that it is about 2 months after their most recent flagship the Samsung galaxy s9 and s9+ the rumors are already in the air that their next flagship the S10 will be a massive step. It is also widely discussed that the new phone will be called Samsung Galaxy 10, not Samsung Galaxy S10. It doesn’t matter what it is called The tech world is eagerly waiting for the next flagship from this Korean tech giant.

The most discussed topic about upcoming galaxy 10 is its screen. Because Samsung always makes some confusion among its fans before they come up with the surprise. So it is certainly not completely clear about what would be their plans for their 10th-anniversary flagship. According to a news in The Indian Express one of the leading Newspaper giants in INDIA Samsung has recently applied for a patent for a specific display and the same was granted.Lets Go Digital has published details of the patent, along with a PDF of the file. The patent is entirely in Korean, but based on the images shared in the patent it is clear that this one talks about a total bezel-less display on a smartphone. The patent is titled ‘Electronic apparatus employing full front screen’ and the company had applied for this on August 1, 2017. The patent was granted to Samsung on February 8, 2018.According to the report, the patent is about a smartphone with a full screen and barely any bezels. This will also be a pressure-sensitive display as the patent notes and can allow for different functions based on the level of touch. If this is What Samsung is aiming for then we will see a phone with a total bezel-less display.

On the other hand, the leaks from FORBS suggests a new type of display, in fact, a display that Samsung has been discussing over last few years, the foldable display. According to new information from recently prolific Korean site The Bell, Samsung’s long-awaited folding Galaxy X smartphone will incorporate not one, not two, but three OLED panels which unfold to create a display as large as a tablet. The Bell states the Galaxy X will have two 3.5-inch OLED panels on the front which unfold to create a 7-inch tablet (just 0.9-inches smaller than an iPad Mini). While a third 3.5-inch panel will be fitted to the back of the phone so the device can be used when it is folded down from tablet mode. Something that implies neither of the front panels can be seen when closed. The expected release of this phone will be in the first quarter of 2019.

Regarding the Processor smartphone leaker, Roland Quandt recently provided information suggesting that the Snapdragon 855 processor will be a 7nm chip. Quandt pointed to data on the business-driven LinkedIn social media platform that seemed to confirm this. Considering that Samsung continues to have a favorable relationship with Qualcomm, it seems highly likely that the 855 will appear in the Galaxy S10.Another recent report suggests that the Galaxy S10 could be compatible with the 5G wireless standard. It is certainly early to be making this assertion, as this system is yet to launch. 5G is expected to arrive, though, in the first half of this year, promising broadband speeds of up to 100 times faster than the existing 4G networks. This will be a huge step for the future. We might see other 5G supported phones in the market before the release of Galaxy 10, but Samsung probably will have a more perfected technology. Another expected feature will be an embedded on-screen fingerprint scanner.

However, Samsung has already confirmed that though they have the folding screen technology, the same will not be seen in any of their devices until they are 100% confident about it. So it will be total surprise device for their galaxy series 10th anniversary, And that is what the tech world is eagerly waiting for.
